Function

As our Market Manager (M/F/X), you play a key role in driving commercial growth. You own the results in terms of new sales, up- and cross-selling, and customer retention — and you directly contribute to our commercial ambitions by reporting to the Commercial Director.

You will define the annual customer success plan including all aspects of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service. This plan includes strategic objectives, initiatives, and go-to-market actions, in an omnichannel context where you combine both physical and digital channels. Collaboration is essential — you will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Commercial Excellence and Operations.

A big part of your challenge is accelerating our digital transformation strategy, operating model and execution:

  • You manage the end-to-end digital and omnichannel strategy and operationg model across the entire value chain, from customer awareness to customer invoicing

  • You collect customer experience insights and translate them into a seamless omnichannel experience

  • You monitor digital experience and sales performance

  • You manage external partners who contribute to the the digital roadmap

You manage the innovation funnel, cross division, in close collaboration with the product owners (they are in charge of ideation and development). As market manager, you are in charge of the final launch step, where you align with all stakeholders to ensure a successful product launch.

You act as the process owner for innovation management, go-to-market, market and customer intelligence, and digital channel processes. As process owner, you ensure continuous improvement including process adoption, perfomance monitoring, prioritisation and implementation of improvements (related to process, people & systems). Doing this, you build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

In addition, you lead and grow the marketing team:

  • You set and monitor team and individual objectives

  • You coach team members in their development and career journey

  • You ensure strong recruitment, onboarding and capacity planning

  • You create a strong team spirit and reinforce connection across the organization

Profile

  • Education: Master’s degree; a background in Business Economics or Business Engineering is considered a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 10 years of experience in general marketing management in a B2B context
    • Essential is extensive experience (5 to 10 years) in digital omnichannel marketing and sales strategy, organisation, processes and platforms in a B2B context.
    • You have a good understanding of strategic market management (including digital models), market process management and people coaching.
    • You are experienced in driving successful transformation projects of a marketing and sales organisation, its processes & systems towards a more digital approach.
  • Languages: Native in Dutch or French, with a good command of the other language, and a strong working knowledge of English.
  • Competences:
    • Strategic mindset, able to see the big picture while balancing operational priorities.
    • Decisive and resilient, able to operate effectively under pressure.
    • Adaptable and agile, open to learning and embracing new challenges.
    • Integrity, accountability, and a collaborative leadership style.
    • The ability to inspire confidence and credibility.
    • Transformation skills, including project management and change management.
    • Good understanding of marketing and digital process frameworks and processes, business intelligence both on traditional and advanced analytics (data science, predictive).
    • Good understanding of marketing strategy and planning (also in digital context), service level management, performance monitoring and coaching
    • Good understanding of digital and marketing process management and improvement, including CRM, ecommerce and business intelligence
