The Procurement Operations Officer supports the Procurement Manager along all stages of the P2P process. His/her role is to conduct key administrative tasks according to best practices in terms of efficiency, compliance and accuracy as well as to identify opportunities for improvement in the procurement function.
Primary Tasks and Deliverables
• Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority for Goods & Services
• Prepares and maintains purchasing & vendors records (Master Data) and price lists
• Performs regular updates of catalogues under Category Manager’s control for the defined and approved commodities
• Reconciles or resolves value discrepancies
• Manages follow-up of contract signature (Vinçotte and Vendors )
• Organizes and structures coherent contract repository and monitors key contractual events
• Monitors and drives the contract renewal process together with the involved business (Contractors, SW Licenses, Maintenance / Services, lease…)
• Business and Vendors Procurement operational support in terms of process and tools
• Spot buy in accordance with the Category strategy & Procurement procedures

The Procurement Operations Officer reports directly to the Procurement Manager.


3 to 5 years as Procurement Operations Officer or Contract administration or Logistics

• Service & results oriented (advanced)
• Improvement and process minded
• Solid judgment and decision making capability
• Basic understanding of Accountings principles
• Knowledge of/and experience with P2P process (plus)
• SAP MM Knowledge (plus)
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English

At least a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related area.
